The game has two main game modes:The great campaign.This leads the player to choose a country throughout the period 1453-1820. In addition to maintaining their own state (which is mainly an economic task), the player can expand his empire through war, cunning diplomacy and colonization.The player choose a scenario(eg the Eighty Years’ War) The player select a country for that period that is interesting to him. Interesting countries to play in the Eighty Years War scenario is Spain or the Netherlands, since this war is a struggle between these 2 countries. This concerns especially the war.
